Build and maintain shared backend services for Ajaib's fintech products
Design, build, and maintain shared backend services and APIs used by multiple product teams. Deliver features from technical design to production, ensuring high quality, stability, and security. Work with product engineering teams, Security, and Infrastructure to turn requirements into reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and build shared backend services and APIs used by many product teams
- Deliver features from technical design to production with tests, monitoring, and alerting
- Investigate production issues, find root causes, and help ship lasting fixes
- Improve the performance and reliability of the services your team owns
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional backend engineering, including running services in production
- Strong in Java, Go or another modern backend language
- Good understanding of microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, event-driven design and reliability basics
- Hands-on with relational databases (query tuning), caching (Redis) and messaging (Kafka)
