- Source: our active remote-jobs corpus from 28+ global job boards. Snapshot as of 2026-07-27: 5,930 active listings, 3,817 of them open to Indonesia.
- Indonesia eligibility = a listing tagged "remote_type=worldwide" AND not geo-locked, OR explicitly tagged "geo_fit=id_friendly" (open to Indonesia/APAC). A listing can carry both signals; the "Explicit Indonesia" column counts it once, in the explicit bucket, so nothing double-counts.
- Privacy & cells: each row/cell (role, or role × currency for salary) is shown only when it has at least 5 samples. Cells below that threshold are suppressed entirely.
- Salary is scoped to listings paying an ANNUAL salary only — hourly, monthly, weekly, and project-fee listings are excluded, not converted. Medians use the disclosed salary range's midpoint.
- This page's salary table shows ONLY USD cells (the largest and most internally consistent currency in this slice). 16 other currency cells (SGD/EUR/GBP/CAD, etc.) exist in the corpus but are thin-sampled and not shown in the table — they remain, as-is, in the downloadable CSV.
- Role category is our structured site taxonomy (not a title guess). This is NOT a domestic Indonesia salary benchmark — for local (IDR) market pay, see our separate Indonesia Salary Benchmark (linked below). We do NOT convert USD to IDR on this page — conversion requires an exchange rate that moves daily, so we show two separate figures rather than one number claiming false precision.
- The published microdata is anonymized: no company name, no verbatim job title. Aggregate statistics — not republished listings.
