Method and limits

  • Counts of active listings in our corpus whose required-skills field names the skill, from the weekly snapshot (week of 2026-10-12). A skill is shown only when at least 30 listings name it.
  • Spelling variants are merged (for example data-analysis and data analysis). A listing that names two variants counts twice, so figures are an upper bound.
  • Kinds come from a fixed dictionary. 90 of the 93 listed skills resolved to a kind; the rest are not grouped.
  • It measures what employers ask for in our listings, not the whole labour market, and not a forecast.
  • The candidate-supply side is not published: we only show a per-skill figure with at least 20 profiles behind it, so no individual can be identified.
