Design, build, and maintain scalable web data infrastructure for Zyte's API, including Kubernetes clusters, Kafka pipelines, and billing engines. Work on a profitable, market-leading platform with dedicated time for architectural research and strategic feature engineering.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable web data infrastructure for Zyte's API
- Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters, Kafka pipelines, and billing engines
- Work on the control plane and context plane architectures for automated software factory
- Set the engineering standard for service design, build, and maintenance at Zyte
- Tackle rare engineering problems in custom networking, high-throughput streaming, and large-scale orchestration
Requirements
- Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, and cloud providers
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with service/schema registries, health-aware routing, and automated canary releases
- Ability to work on complex, large-scale systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for data
