Requirements

- Proven experience as an IT audit professional or hands-on IT application development background
- Experience in IT and quality frameworks such as ITIL, CMMI, or CISA
- Experience in cloud product development (added advantage)

Role Overview The IT Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring that IT systems, processes, and deliverables meet established quality standards and comply with internal and external requirements. The role drives continuous improvement across IT processes, leads risk-based audits, maintains documentation, and supports system administration under the Quality Management Section. The ideal candidate possesses strong IT audit experience or hands-on IT development background, along with expertise in IT and quality frameworks. Key Responsibilities 1. Quality Management & Process Improvement Serve as process owner for key quality processes, such as feedback, requirements, and change management. Review annual quality performance, set quality targets, and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights. Oversee documentation workflows, including drafting, review, approval, version control, and baselining. 2. Audit & Compliance Plan and execute risk-based internal quality audits and reviews within agreed timelines. Evaluates the effectiveness of policies, operational controls, and IT processes. Prepare and present audit outcomes, recommendations, and risk insights to management. Identify compliance gaps and collaborate with stakeholders to implement remediation plans. 3. Documentation & System Administration Maintain and safeguard the organisations system document library, ensuring integrity, accessibility, and security. Serve as system administrator for application systems under the Quality Management Section, ensuring system reliability, accuracy, and data integrity. 4. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement quality initiatives and process enhancements. Provide advisory support on quality standards, compliance requirements, and process controls. Prepare and deliver periodic reports on quality metrics, audit results, and compliance status. Facilitate quality reviews and ensure departmental adherence to established quality procedures. Experience And Skill Needed As an IT Quality Specialist , you will need to have: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline. ISO 9001 auditor certification is a mandatory requirement. 3–5 years of experience in IT quality assurance, or related roles. Proven experience as an IT audit professional or hands-on IT application development background. Experience in cloud product development is an added advantage. ITIL, CMMI, CISA, other quality management / governance certifications and/or Agile/Scrum certifications are advantageous. Strong understanding of ICT governance, IT controls, and quality management frameworks. Proficiency in QA methodologies, audit techniques, and quality tools. Knowledge of IT governance & controls and software development processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Excellent stakeholder engagement and report writing abilities. Detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency with digital communication tools (Teams, SharePoint, Forms) and analytics tools/platforms (Power BI, Excel) will be beneficial.
