Vue Frontend Engineer (Cebu)

Department: System Team Contract Duration: 1 year Nationality: Filipino (Cebu Locals) Location of Posting: Cebu, Philippines Salary Range: $1000-$4000(Based on the candidate's capabilities) Experience Required: Junior: 1-2 years Senior: 3 years Number of Vacancies: 2 Educational Requirement: Bachelors degree Languages: English (required), Chinese language proficiency is a plus What You'll Be Doing: -Build and maintain web pages and internal tools -Connect frontend with backend APIs -Write unit tests to ensure everything runs smoothly (and fast!) -Review teammates code and support each other's growth -Automate deployments and system maintenance (we like things smooth and smart) -Share your thoughts on how to improve designs and workflows Qualifications: -2+ years of software development experience -Comfortable with JavaScript and Shell scripting -Experience with unit testing (e.g., Vitest, Jest) -Hands-on experience with Vue 3 and Nuxt 3 -Ability to read and understand official documentation efficiently -Knowledge of AI tools for productivity (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT) -Confident problem-solving skills (e.g., can solve problems like Two Sum on LeetCode) Nice-to-Haves: -Experience with other frameworks like ReactJS -Familiarity with Docker -Used automation tools like Ansible -Experience with CI/CD tools like Drone or Jenkins -UI/UX design or analysis experience -Bonus points for reading Clean Code or exploring Extreme Programming practices
