We are looking for an SEO Manager to own SocialPilot's organic growth across Google and AI answers, and to lead our SEO team while doing hands-on work alongside it. Search is being rebuilt by AI answers. The role has two jobs. First, brand discovery. Grow how many new people discover SocialPilot every month, on Google, in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google's AI answers, on Reddit and YouTube, and in the lists and review sites buyers trust. Second, revenue. Turn that discovery into sign-ups, paying customers, and revenue. You are measured on both, not on traffic or rankings alone. You report to the Head of Marketing on a weekly cadence. B2B SaaS experience is a must. You will do well here if you are revenue-oriented, AI-focused, and like to move fast. What you will do: Grow brand discovery Measure brand discovery - Track how many new people discover SocialPilot each month, and where they find us, across Google, AI answers, Reddit, YouTube, lists, and review sites. Grow that number every month. Set the organic strategy - Sort our searches by what the searcher wants, and put the team's effort where buyers search, not only where volume is. Build the topical map and decide where we play and in what order, across comparison, alternatives and "best tools" pages, product and feature pages, content, and international. Decide which pages to build, fix, merge, or retire. Win in AI answers (GEO and AEO) - Grow how often ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and AI Overviews and AI Mode name, cite, and recommend SocialPilot, and how often they name us against our competitors. Run outreach and collaborations. Get SocialPilot onto the "best tools" lists, review roundups, publications, Reddit threads, and YouTube videos that rank on Google and that AI answers cite. Set Reddit and YouTube targets with the teams that produce for them. Build lasting relationships with publishers, partners and creators, and earn links and mentions through digital PR. Manage our listings and review sites. Own how SocialPilot appears on G2, Capterra, and other review sites, software directories, and AI app directories. Grow reviews and keep how we describe SocialPilot consistent everywhere, so Google and AI assistants understand what we are. Get the right content published. Work with the content team to plan, brief, and publish the content organic growth needs, on time. Review the search side, so every page answers a real buyer question well enough for Google and AI answers to use it. Turn discovery into revenue: Grow revenue from organic. Own new sign-ups, paying customers, and revenue from organic search and AI answers, and keep growing them. Build the monthly forecast for discovery and revenue, and hit it. Put buyer pages first. Win back the searches where buyers compare tools, and make sure those pages lead to a trial. Diagnose and measure. Use Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs or Semrush, AI visibility tools and log data to find what moved and why. Check rankings live, by country and device, before reporting them. Tie every channel, including AI answers, to the sign-ups and revenue it brings, and turn data into decisions. Bring new ideas and test them. Do not wait for a brief. Bring your own ideas for more discovery and revenue every month, from what the best SaaS teams, our competitors, and new AI search features are doing. Size each one, and test the best with the cheapest test, a clear hypothesis, and a kill rule set before the data comes in. Stay ahead of Google updates and changes in AI search, and act on them. Lead and run organic: Lead the SEO team. Lead the SEO team and do hands-on work alongside them. Set clear weekly targets, review work, coach, and hire. Manage SEO tools and agencies within budget. Run technical SEO and guard every release. Own the SEO backlog with our web developers. Crawling, indexing, site architecture, structured data, page speed, migrations, and redirects. No page is removed, redirected, or moved without an SEO check, and every site change goes in a release log, so we always know what changed and when. Use AI and automation. Build AI workflows and agents with the team to research, brief, audit, and report faster. Work across teams. Partner with content, web, design, product, and paid to ship pages and fixes on time. Set the brief, hold the quality bar, and keep work moving. Must have skills: 3+ years managing an SEO team with direct reports, while still doing the work yourself. You have set their targets, reviewed their work, grown them, and hired. Informal mentoring does not count. Proven revenue impact from SEO. You have grown revenue through organic search and can show the sign-ups, paying customers, or revenue your work brought. You measure SEO by how many new people discover the brand and the revenue that discovery brings, not by traffic or rankings alone. You know which searches bring buyers and which bring readers. You have built an organic forecast and owned a quarterly number. You can walk us through a drop you diagnosed and recovered, or growth you built, and what it was worth. 8+ years of hands-on SEO B2B SaaS experience. A deep, current understanding of how search is changing across SEO, GEO, and how LLMs find, choose, and cite their sources. You keep up every week and can show what you changed in your own work because of it. Reddit and YouTube experience, such as growing a brand's presence in Reddit threads or in YouTube search. Hands-on with AI visibility tools such as BrightEdge and Profound. You know what they measure well and what they miss. Outreach and listings experience. You have gotten a brand onto third-party lists and roundups, run digital PR and link outreach, built partner and creator collaborations, and managed product listings on review sites and software directories such as G2 and Capterra. AI focused. You use AI tools every day, and you have built AI workflows or agents that made your team faster. You can show us one. You bring your own ideas. You spot what others miss, size it and test it without being asked, and can show us two or three ideas that came from you, not from a brief, and what they brought. Deep across technical, content, and off-page SEO, with experience on comparison and alternatives pages in a competitive category. Fluent in Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs or Semrush, and Screaming Frog, and comfortable with APIs, large exports, Sheets, or SQL. Visible and reachable in a remote team. You share progress and blockers without being asked. Good to have Product-led growth (PLG) or free trial SaaS experience. Experience in social media, marketing, or martech software.
