This role is for someone who'd rather design for one very specific, very opinionated person: the developer at 2am trying to figure out why their voice agent just failed a call. You'll design the tools developers use to test, evaluate and debug AI agents — a category that's still being invented, with no established patterns to copy. You'll thrive as a Senior Product Designer if you: - are obsessed with making the best product for our customers - are known as the go-to person for tackling tough problems - work hard and can build and ship fast - are focused on polish, detail and quality - are a fast learner, frequently picking up new tips, tricks, and skills The best way to impress us is with thoughtful ways you'd implement LiveKit, and potentially tinkering with it 😊   WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own the design of how developers test, evaluate and observe their agents — simulations, evals, logs and agent insights - Turn complex, real-time data into interfaces that are easy to scan, understand and act on - Design new interaction patterns for AI-native workflows, where agents generate the first draft and humans adjust it - Prototype in code and work hand-in-hand with engineers to ship polished work - Contribute patterns to our design system for dense, debugging-oriented surfaces   WHO YOU ARE - You've shipped design work for developer tools, observability or data-heavy products - You have strong data-visualization instincts and know when a chart beats a table (and when it doesn't) - You're comfortable in code — reading PRs, tweaking Tailwind, building prototypes - You earn the trust of deeply technical users and engineers - Experience designing for AI or agent tooling - AI tools are already a core part of how you design   OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU - An opportunity to build something truly impactful to the world - Contribute to open source alongside world-class engineers - Competitive salary and equity package - Health, dental, and vision benefits - Flexible vacation policy   LiveKit is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any characteristic protected by applicable law.
