Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Microsoft Azure services
  • Implement data integration solutions using REST APIs, Azure Event Hubs, and Azure Functions
  • Build reusable data frameworks and establish coding standards for data processing workflows
  • Enforce data quality, security, compliance, and governance protocols using Azure Key Vault and Microsoft Entra ID

  • Partner with cross-functional technical teams to support downstream analytics and machine learning initiatives

Key Responsibilities Pipeline Design & Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using core Microsoft Azure services for both structured and unstructured data. System Integration: Implement robust data integration solutions across multi-source enterprise environments, utilizing REST APIs, Azure Event Hubs, and Azure Functions. Architecture & Optimization: Build reusable data frameworks, establish coding standards, and continuously optimize data processing workflows for maximum performance and cost efficiency. Data Governance & Security: Enforce data quality, security, compliance, and governance protocols across all data assets while managing secure access via Azure Key Vault and Microsoft Entra ID. Operations & CI/CD: Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Azure-based data pipelines, implementing CI/CD pipelines and maintaining comprehensive system documentation. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional technical teams to support downstream analytics, reporting, and advanced machine learning initiatives. Programming Core: Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, PySpark expertise, and a solid understanding of data modeling principles. Basic working knowledge of Java is preferred. Azure Expertise: Demonstrated hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Azure Monitor, Azure Key Vault, and Microsoft Entra ID. Big Data & Integration: Deep familiarity with Apache Spark, Databricks, event-driven architecture (Azure Event Hubs), serverless computing (Azure Functions), and API integrations.
