Manage and optimize SQL Server databases for enterprise projects
Administer, monitor, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure availability, security, and optimal performance. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including database health checks, integrity checks, indexing, statistics maintenance, and capacity monitoring. Key Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure availability, security, and optimal performance
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including database health checks, integrity checks, indexing, statistics maintenan
- Monitor and optimize database performance, including troubleshooting performance bottlenecks and incidents
- Manage SQL Server Agent Jobs, alerts, backup, and recovery processes
- Execute SQL Server upgrades using both in-place upgrade and side-by-side migration methods
- Perform database migration assessments, compatibility checks, and implementation activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator
- Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration, installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Experience with SQL Server performance tuning, troubleshooting, backup, and recovery
- Hands-on experience in SQL Server upgrade and migration projects (in-place upgrade and side-by-side migration)
- Experience implementing and managing SQL Server High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions
