Vice President of Operations Maintenance

Team members work within a culture that values technical excellence, customer focus, and continuous improvement in facility performance. **Role Description** The Vice President of Operations Maintenance is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of maintenance and facilities management services across AlfaStar Ventures’ portfolio. This role leads operational teams, sets performance standards, and ensures that preventive and corrective maintenance programs are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The Vice President develops and implements operational strategies, optimizes resource allocation, and manages vendor and subcontractor relationships to achieve service-level targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring P&L performance, reviewing operational dashboards and reports, resolving complex customer issues, coordinating cross-functional projects, and driving process improvements that enhance service quality and efficiency. **Qualifications** - Operations leadership capabilities, including strong Operations Management experience and ability to oversee multi-site maintenance activities. - Financial acumen with proven P&L Management skills for budgeting, cost control, and profitability optimization. - Customer-focused mindset with demonstrated Customer Service experience in a facilities management or technical services environment. - Strategic Planning skills for designing long-term operational roadmaps, capacity planning, and service expansion initiatives. - Project Management skills to lead complex maintenance projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and deliver on schedule and scope. - Extensive experience in facilities management, MEP, or maintenance operations, preferably with residential, commercial, or industrial portfolios. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with proficiency in using operational KPIs and performance metrics. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment. - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
