About this Job We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Vice President of Commercial Solutions Sales to lead a high-performing team responsible for driving revenue growth, client expansion, and sales excellence across a portfolio of data, analytics, and insights solutions. This executive leader will partner closely with product, consulting, customer success, and commercial leadership teams to help enterprise clients transform business decisions through data-driven insights and advanced analytics. The role requires a proven sales leader with experience managing complex solution sales, developing top talent, and building strong executive-level relationships within large enterprise organizations. Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop a team of quota-carrying sales professionals. Establish clear performance expectations, sales metrics, and accountability measures. Recruit, onboard, and retain top-performing commercial talent. Provide coaching on complex sales strategy, executive engagement, negotiation, and value-based selling. Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement. Revenue Growth & Commercial Execution Own team revenue performance across new business acquisition and account expansion. Drive pipeline development and disciplined execution throughout the sales lifecycle. Deliver accurate forecasting and business planning. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop strategic sales initiatives and market growth plans. Identify opportunities to accelerate revenue growth through innovative commercial strategies. Executive Client Engagement Build relationships with senior decision-makers across client organizations. Support development of customized business solutions aligned to client objectives. Guide commercial strategy, deal structuring, pricing, and negotiations. Help teams articulate differentiated value propositions that address complex business challenges. Act as an executive sponsor for key client relationships and strategic opportunities. 8-10+ years of consultative B2B sales experience with data, analytics, technology, SaaS, research, information services, or related solutions. 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams. Experience with leading consumer intelligence, market measurement, analytics, insights, or data solutions used by enterprise brands and retailers Proven success selling into consumer-focused industries, including retail, consumer goods, or adjacent sectors. Experience leading complex, enterprise-level sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. Strong executive presence and ability to influence C-suite decision makers. Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue goals and driving sustainable growth. Experience managing forecasting, pipeline performance, and territory planning. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving, and highly collaborative environment. Familiarity with leading market intelligence, consumer insights, analytics, measurement, or data platforms is strongly preferred. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role is eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
