In this role, you’ll operate as a technical leader owning the end to end deployment strategy and shaping the systems that enable engineering velocity at scale. This is a high impact role focused on reducing cycle time, increasing reliability and enabling world-class developer experience across Webflow.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>About the role:</strong></h1> <ul> <li>Location: Remote-first (Argentina)</li> <li>Permanent, full-time employee (this is not a contractor position)</li> <li>Application Information:<br>Application deadline: applications accepted on an ongoing basis until position is closed and filled<br>This posting is for a new position</li> <li>Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, Developer Productivity&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>As a <strong>Staff DevOps Engineer, Delivery Loop</strong>&nbsp;you’ll:</p> <ul> <li>Define and drive Webflow’s end-to-end deployment strategy, from CI pipelines to production rollout.</li> <li>Own and evolve our GitOps-based deployment platform (e.g., ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts), ensuring scalability, reliability, and ease of use.</li> <li>Design and implement safe, progressive delivery mechanisms (canary, blue/green, feature flags, automated rollback).</li> <li>Set technical direction across teams, guiding architecture decisions that improve developer velocity and system reliability.</li> <li>Establish and evangelize best practices for CI/CD, release engineering, and environment management across the organization.</li> <li>Identify and eliminate bottlenecks to drive step-function improvements in developer productivity and cycle time.</li> <li>Build and evolve internal tooling to improve testing, and deployment workflows.</li> <li>Ensure high reliability and operational excellence through strong observability, monitoring, and incident-driven improvements.</li> <li>Mentor engineers and act as a force multiplier, influencing teams through technical leadership, design reviews, and cross-team collaboration.<br><br></li> </ul> <h1><strong>About you:</strong></h1> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>BS / BA degree or equivalent experience</li> <li>7+ years in Devops, Site Reliability or Infrastructure Engineering roles</li> <li>Business-level fluency to read, write and speak in English</li> </ul> <p>You’ll thrive as a/an <strong>Staff DevOps Engineer, Delivery Loop</strong>&nbsp;if you:</p> <ul> <li>Have deep expertise in modern deployment systems, including Kubernetes, GitOps workflows, and tools like ArgoCD and Argo Rollouts.</li> <li>Have successfully designed and scaled CI/CD systems for large engineering organizations.</li> <li>Are comfortable owning ambiguous, cross-cutting problems and turning them into clear technical strategies.</li> <li>Have a strong track record of improving developer velocity, reliability, and system scalability</li> <li>Possess deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS), containerization (Docker), and distributed systems.</li> <li>Have experience implementing progressive delivery techniques (canary, blue/green, feature flags)</li> <li>Are skilled in infrastructure as code (e.g., Pulumi, Terraform) and system automation.</li> <li>Balance short-term execution with long-term architectural vision.</li> <li>Influence engineering teams through technical leadership, not just direct ownership.</li> <li>Communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>&nbsp;Stay curious and open to growth — demonstrating a proactive embrace of AI, and actively building and applying fluency in emerging technologies to elevate how we work, drive faster outcomes, and expand collective impact.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Our Core Behaviors:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Build lasting customer trust.</strong> We build trust by taking action that puts customer trust first.</li> <li><strong>Win together.</strong> We play to win, and we win as one team.
