Job Summary: As a Solutions Architect supporting APAC at Drata, you’ll be a customer-facing technical partner helping enterprise customers implement, adopt, and expand their use of Drata’s security and compliance automation platform. You’ll own the technical customer experience from kickoff through ongoing adoption—serving as implementation lead, platform expert, trainer, and trusted advisor. You’ll work closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Engineering to solve complex customer needs, improve technical enablement, and represent the needs of APAC customers. This role requires availability to start at 8:00 a.m. local time to support collaboration with North American teams. What you’ll do: - Own a portfolio of APAC enterprise customers as their primary technical point of contact. - Lead end-to-end implementations, including project plans, milestones, risk management, stakeholder coordination, configuration, testing, and launch readiness. - Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and translate business, security, and compliance requirements into scalable solutions. - Monitor customer health, usage, renewal risk, and expansion opportunities; partner with Customer Success to address risks proactively. - Configure and customize Drata, integrate customer systems, support data migrations, and troubleshoot complex technical issues. - Advise customers on integrations, APIs, cloud infrastructure, identity and access, development workflows, security tools, HR systems, and AI-enabled compliance workflows. - Deliver training, workshops, QBR technical insights, documentation, and self-service guidance that increase customer adoption and independence. - Reduce engineering escalations by diagnosing issues, documenting platform behavior, and providing clear technical remediations. - Partner with Product and Engineering on UAT, bug reports, feature requests, customer use cases, and regional requirements. - Share APAC customer trends and best practices across Customer Success and the broader company through enablement and technical documentation. What you'll bring: - 8+ years of post-sales experience in a Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, Implementation Manager, Customer Success Engineer, or similar role in B2B SaaS. - Demonstrated success leading complex, end-to-end enterprise implementations. - Customer-facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting, training, and debugging with both technical and executive audiences. - 5+ years in security, compliance, GRC, or a related field is preferred. - Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools or platforms, ideally applied to compliance or GRC workflows. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure; REST APIs and JSON; and scripting or development with technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Python, Bash, Shell, or Unix. - Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, QA, and Security teams. - Based in, or able to work hours aligned with, the APAC region. English fluency is required; additional regional languages are a plus. - Familiarity with APAC regulatory, data residency, or market requirements is a plus. Candidates shouldn't expect automatic placement at any particular point within the range. Offer amounts are determined by the qualifications each candidate brings to the position. Total compensation may also include equity designed to provide meaningful ownership in the company, as well as health and wellbeing benefits.
