As a Senior Software Engineer at MetaMask, you will build and maintain features for the MetaMask wallet, enabling users to hold, move, grow, and use digital assets securely. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new features for the MetaMask crypto wallet
- Ensure security and reliability of wallet functionality for digital asset management
- Collaborate with global team members to improve user experience
- Contribute to the open-source codebase supporting Ethereum and other blockchains
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to maintain high standards
Requirements
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web development
- Experience with blockchain technology, Ethereum, or crypto wallets
- Strong understanding of security best practices in financial applications
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment
- Experience with React or similar frontend frameworks for complex UIs
