ABOUT ABRIDGE Abridge was founded in 2018 with the mission of powering deeper understanding in healthcare. Our AI-powered platform was purpose-built for medical conversations, improving clinical documentation efficiencies while enabling clinicians to focus on what matters most—their patients. Our enterprise-grade technology transforms patient-clinician conversations into structured clinical notes in real-time, with deep EMR integrations. Powered by Linked Evidence and our purpose-built, auditable AI, we are the only company that maps AI-generated summaries to ground truth, helping providers quickly trust and verify the output. As pioneers in generative AI for healthcare, we are setting the industry standards for the responsible deployment of AI across health systems. We are a growing team of practicing MDs, AI scientists, PhDs, creatives, technologists, and engineers working together to empower people and make care make more sense. We have offices located in the Mission District in San Francisco, the SoHo neighborhood of New York, and East Liberty in Pittsburgh. THE ROLE Abridge is seeking a Senior People Programs Manager to own and scale the programs that shape the employee lifecycle as we grow. This role spans onboarding, performance management, employee experience, engagement, manager enablement, recognition, and career pathing. You will take programs through their full lifecycle - design, execution, and measurement - building repeatable programs that scale with the company. You'll partner closely with HRBPs and People Ops to define clear swim lanes, and you'll bring structure and rigor to areas that often lack precedent. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who translates ambiguous or competing needs into structured plans with clear owners and success criteria, and who uses data to know whether a program is actually working. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Design and scale programs across the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding appropriate for Abridge's current and future size. - Translate ambiguous or competing needs into structured programs with clear phases, owners, success criteria and timelines. - Partner crossfunctionally with HRBPs, People Ops, Finance, Legal, and IT bringing others in early and naming where a program starts and where BP/People Ops ownership begins. - Manage multiple programs in parallel - Drive adoption and enablement and leading training for employees when appropriate. - Define leading and lagging indicators (completion rates, engagement scores, manager adoption, calibration outcomes, etc.) to evaluate program health and inform iteration. WHAT YOU’LL BRING - 8+ years in people programs, with direct ownership of at least one full-lifecycle program such as onboarding/offboarding, performance management, or engagement. - Experience scaling people programs specifically through a high-growth stage (100 to 1000+ employees). - A track record of owning a program end-to-end and iterating cycle over cycle. - Experience diagnosing and rebuilding programs that weren’t working - Strong judgment on what's a People Programs problem versus an HRBP or People Ops problem, and the ability to clearly define where those lines sit. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience leading training or enablement sessions for employees and managers. - Comfort with ambiguity and limited precedent. Ability to take a complicated problem and create clarity around a solution. This is a hybrid position (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) in San Francisco. WHY WORK AT ABRIDGE?
