You will build real courtroom depth across state and federal courts throughout New York State, with exposure to catastrophic injury and trucking matters that accelerate your path to first-chair work. Defend litigation claims in state and federal courts throughout New York State, from initial investigation through trial Handle depositions, court appearances, and motion practice Resolve matters through mediation and arbitration when that is the better result for the client Advise clients on strategy, risk management, and insurance issues Draft pleadings, discovery requests, and other litigation documents with precision and clarity Work transportation matters with a 24/7 rapid response team of attorneys, field adjusters, and accident reconstruction experts securing scene evidence early Collaborate with partners and colleagues to develop case strategy and deliver exceptional client service Required: New York Bar Admission Recent defense litigation experience You should know some of the following: Insurance Defense General Liability Premises Liability Motor Vehicle Accidents Transportation / Trucking Litigation, including truck-on-truck and truck-on-auto collisions, cargo loss, and loss transfer claims Wrongful Death and Catastrophic Injury Product Liability Toxic Torts Construction Law Industrial Accidents Recreational and Amusement Liability Intentional Torts and Assault Property Damage Claims, including municipal and utility claims Subrogation Interested in hearing more?
