We’re proud to be a part of that.Learn more about us on ourYouTube Channel orBlog Posts About the Role We are seeking a Lead Product Designer for our Builder pod who can elevate HighLevel's creator tools through exceptional craft, product vision and systems thinking. The Builder pod owns the visual creation tools that help customers build websites, funnels, landing pages, emails, forms, templates, and future AI-powered experiences without code. This is a Lead Individual Contributor role. You will influence product direction through exceptional design craft, product thinking, and cross-functional leadership rather than direct people management.   As a lead individual contributor, you will partner with product and engineering leaders to shape the future of HighLevel's builder experiences. You will help teams make complex creation workflows feel approachable, powerful and polished for agencies, entrepreneurs and SMBs who need to move quickly and produce high-quality customer-facing work.   We expect candidates at this level to demonstrate exceptional design craft and consistently raise the quality bar across the teams they work with. You should care deeply about hierarchy, layout, typography, spacing, interaction quality, usability, accessibility, and the details that make builder experiences feel precise, trustworthy, and fast.   Experience using AI-powered tools for exploration, prototyping, critique, synthesis or workflow acceleration is mandatory. What You'll Do Lead design strategy and execution for one or more product pillars, translating customer needs, business goals and technical constraints into clear experience direction. Partner with product and engineering leaders to define product vision, prioritize opportunities and align teams around high-quality outcomes. Influence leadership decisions through customer empathy, data synthesis, product judgment, storytelling and strong design rationale. Drive quality reviews and set standards for usability, accessibility, interaction quality, visual consistency and design-system alignment. Mentor designers, improve critique, strengthen shared patterns and make design standards easier to adopt. Define and socialize metrics for design quality and impact, including usability, accessibility, task success, adoption, retention or customer satisfaction. Lead complex discovery and design work through ambiguity with clarity, speed and craft. Collaborate effectively across US and India time zones in a 100% remote environment. What We Are Looking For 7+ years of relevant product design experience, with 2+ years in a leadership, mentorship or design direction capacity; experience in SaaS, B2B, platform, workflow-heavy or other complex digital product environments is highly valuable. An exceptionally strong portfolio that demonstrates systematic thinking, customer empathy, exceptional craft, measurable product impact and leadership beyond individual execution. Proven experience leading data-informed product design across the full lifecycle, including research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, content strategy and usability testing. Exceptional visual and interaction design craft, with deep care for hierarchy, layout, typography, grids, spacing, motion, usability, accessibility and product quality. Experience designing for AI-driven or intelligent interfaces, including collaboration with machine learning, data, automation or platform teams. Deep fluency in design systems, accessibility standards, reusable patterns and scalable product experience decisions. Experience influencing design direction for high-impact product areas, systems, platforms or pillars, not only individual features or flows. Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to work fluently with product managers, engineers, data partners, customer-facing teams, senior stakeholders and other designers. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas, lead critiques and workshops and persuade through rationale, evidence and craft. Passion for improving team operations, design standards, processes, tools, documentation and better ways for teams to work.
