Our Content Capture team plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the data that powers our platform. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a Junior Content Capture Analyst to join our growing Content Capture Delivery team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of how we source and structure regulatory data — developing and maintaining web scraping solutions that extract structured information from HTML-based websites at scale. You'll work alongside experienced analysts, engineers, and QA specialists to improve the speed, reliability, and accuracy of our data extraction processes. This is a hands-on technical role with real impact: the data you help capture feeds directly into the regulatory intelligence products that thousands of compliance professionals rely on every day. WHAT YOU'LL DO Data Extraction & Scraping - Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot web scraping solutions to extract structured data from HTML-based websites - Handle websites with varying levels of complexity, including dynamic, multilingual, and access-restricted sites - Resolve technical challenges such as geo-blocking, Cloudflare restrictions, CAPTCHA interruptions, and caching issues Development & Automation - Build and improve C#/.NET-based tools for automated data extraction, source-link monitoring, and validation - Contribute to caching algorithm improvements and performance optimisation to increase scraping speed and reliability - Leverage AI-assisted technologies and automation to reduce manual effort and improve productivity Quality & Delivery - Ensure high data accuracy and quality across all extraction outputs - Manage assigned tasks independently, meeting deadlines and extraction targets based on website complexity - Document code changes, development approaches, and testing outcomes Collaboration & Communication - Participate in daily stand-ups, updating the team on progress, blockers, and next steps - Work closely with Senior Analysts, QA, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and refine requirements - Maintain task boards and project management tools (Jira, RM) with accurate progress updates WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Essential - 6 months – 1 year of relevant experience (internships and academic projects welcome) - Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web structures - Programming experience in C# and/or .NET; familiarity with JavaScript is a plus - Understanding of web scraping concepts, data extraction techniques, and content processing - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality - Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues - Strong task-management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines - Willingness to learn and adopt AI tools to support automation and process improvement Nice to Have - Experience handling websites with dynamic content, different languages, or access restrictions (geo-blocking, CAPTCHA, Cloudflare) - Familiarity with performance optimisation, debugging, and data retrieval techniques - Exposure to Jira, Power BI, or similar project/reporting tools - Background in FinTech, BPO/BPM, IT Services, SaaS, or Publishing & Digital Content TECH STACK C# · .NET · HTML & CSS · JavaScript · Jira · Power BI · AI-assisted productivity tools · Debugging & testing tools WHAT YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS LOOK LIKE You won't be thrown in the deep end. A Senior Analyst will be assigned as your buddy, guiding you through onboarding and giving you regular feedback as you grow into the role. You'll start by getting familiar with our existing tools, processes, coding standards, and quality expectations. From there, you'll gradually take on more complex scraping tasks, develop and optimise C#-based solutions, and begin contributing to automation and productivity improvements — all with mentorship and support from the team.
