IT Systems Manager (SaaS Operations)

Design and maintain SaaS integrations to automate internal workflows

Own and evolve the internal SaaS ecosystem by managing business-critical platforms like Google Workspace, Rippling, and Microsoft 365. Administer the full SaaS lifecycle including user provisioning, license management, and vendor relationships. Design and maintain integrations using REST APIs, Webhooks, SSO, and SCIM to automate onboarding, offboarding, and other internal workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer core SaaS platforms including Google Workspace, Rippling, Microsoft 365, Slack, 1Password, Asana, and Slite
  • Manage the full SaaS lifecycle: user provisioning/deprovisioning, license audits, usage tracking, and budget optimization
  • Design, implement, and maintain integrations between systems using REST APIs, Webhooks, SSO, and SCIM
  • Build and improve automations for onboarding, offboarding, and user access management
  • Evaluate, test, and implement new SaaS solutions based on evolving business needs
  • Manage vendor relationships for licensing, pricing, and renewals of business software

Requirements

  • 4+ years in IT Operations or Systems Administration
  • 1–2 years in a senior or manager-level role owning SaaS platforms and automation
  • Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace and an HRIS/Identity platform like Rippling
  • Experience designing and maintaining integrations using REST APIs, Webhooks, SSO, and SCIM
  • Experience building workflow automations such as onboarding/offboarding and user provisioning
  • Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell

We're looking for an IT Systems Manager to own and evolve our internal SaaS ecosystem. This role focuses on managing business-critical SaaS platforms, building integrations between them, and automating internal workflows. We're looking for someone who enjoys designing scalable systems rather than simply maintaining them. Responsibilities: SaaS Operations Administer and maintain core business applications, including Google Workspace, Rippling, Microsoft 365, Slack, 1Password, Slite, Asana, and other internal SaaS platforms. Manage the full SaaS lifecycle, including user provisioning and deprovisioning, license management, usage audits, and budget optimization. Help to evaluate, test, and implement new SaaS solutions to support evolving business needs. Manage relationships with software vendors, including licensing, pricing, and renewals. Automation & Integrations Design, implement, and maintain integrations between internal systems using REST APIs, Webhooks, SSO, and SCIM. Help to improve and create automations, including onboarding and offboarding processes. Continuously identify opportunities to eliminate manual work through automation. 4+ years of experience in IT Operations or Systems Administration, including 1–2 years in a senior or manager-level role with ownership of SaaS platforms, automation, and systems integrations. Experience working in organizations with 500–2,000+ employees, supporting a complex SaaS environment with multiple business applications. Strong hands-on experience administering Google Workspace. Experience administering an HRIS/Identity platform such as Rippling or a similar solution. Experience managing multiple SaaS platforms across the organization (e.g. Slack, Microsoft 365, 1Password, Asana, Notion/Slite, Google Workspace, etc.). Hands-on experience designing and maintaining integrations between business applications using REST APIs, Webhooks, SSO, and SCIM. Experience building workflow automations across multiple systems (e.g. onboarding/offboarding, user provisioning, access management). Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Good understanding of SSO, SAML, SCIM, and identity lifecycle management. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
