ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a Financial Controller to join our Finance team and own two key areas: scheme cost management and regulatory reporting. You'll become the go-to expert on Visa and Mastercard scheme costs, driving cost optimization while ensuring accurate and scalable regulatory reporting. Your work will directly influence how we manage costs and support the growth of our acquiring business. What You'll Own Scheme Cost Analysis & Management - Analyze Visa and Mastercard fee structures and identify cost optimization opportunities - Monitor pricing updates and regulatory changes, assessing their financial impact - Improve the accuracy of scheme fee calculation and merchant allocation - Collaborate with payment schemes, processors, and internal teams on fee-related topics Regulatory Reporting & Financial Controls - Improve and standardize regulatory reporting processes - Monitor reporting requirements for new and existing products - Prepare financial data for internal and external audits - Strengthen financial controls in partnership with Compliance and Product teams You're a Great Fit if You Have - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Audit, or a related field - 4–6 years of experience in Financial Controlling, Financial Analysis, Audit or Reporting - Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and experience working with large datasets - Ownership mindset and rigorous attention to detail - English — Upper-Intermediate or higher - Proactive use of AI tools to improve efficiency and automate routine tasks Nice to Have - Experience in payments, acquiring, or fintech - SQL, Python, or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) - ACCA, CFA, or CIMA (completed or in progress) WHY SOLIDGATE?
