Translate and format a UNDP report into Portuguese for Mozambique stakeholders
Translate UNDP Mozambique's learning report from English into Portuguese (Mozambique) and prepare the translated version through desktop publishing. Work with the report's existing design to ensure translated text is accurately incorporated, maintaining headings, tables, figures, captions, references and page layout. Key Responsibilities
- Translate the UNDP learning report from English into Portuguese (Mozambique)
- Apply desktop publishing to incorporate translated text into the existing report design
- Maintain consistency of headings, tables, figures, captions, references and page layout
- Proofread the Portuguese version of the report
- Incorporate feedback from the UNDP team on the translation and layout
Requirements
- Strong written command of Portuguese, preferably with familiarity with Portuguese as used in Mozambique
- Strong command of English
- Proven experience translating reports or professional documents from English into Portuguese
- Practical experience in desktop publishing and document layout
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign with access to the software throughout the assignment
