Cloud Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities: Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient end-to-end cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure for enterprise applications. Consult with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, recommend optimal Azure services, and define application hosting and modernization strategies (PaaS, containers, serverless). Architect robust and secure networking solutions across cloud and hybrid environments, leveraging services like VNets, Azure Firewall, and Private Endpoints. Lead cloud migration and transformation initiatives, ensuring adherence to governance, compliance, and security best practices. Provide technical guidance and architectural oversight to development and operations teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing, cost-effective cloud solutions that meet business objectives. Continuously optimize the cloud environment for security, availability, performance, and cost-efficiency. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or platform operations, with a mandatory focus on Microsoft Azure. Proven expertise in designing solutions with a broad range of Azure services, including: Analytics: Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory. Application Hosting: Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps. Databases: Cosmos DB, Azure Database for PostgreSQL. Networking: VNets, Hub-and-Spoke architecture, Azure Firewall, Private Endpoints, Load Balancers, and hybrid connectivity. API & Gateway: Azure API Management, Azure Front Door, Application Gateway. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, Bicep, and/or ARM templates. Solid experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation. Demonstrated track record in leading cloud migration, security hardening, governance, monitoring, and cost optimization initiatives. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a consultative mindset.
