Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation (Mostly Remote)

Jersey City, New Jersey (United States) Job Description: Prominent national law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join their thriving practice. Ideal candidate will have strong writing skills and have 2+ years litigation experience in one or more of the following areas: Professional Liability, Premises Liability, Construction/NY Labor Law, Medical Malpractice, General Tort, Transportation, Auto, General Liability, Personal Injury, Products Liability, Civil Litigation, Employment. Open to both Plaintiff's or Defense side experience! Option to work 4 days remote/1 day onsite in their East Midtown NYC office. You'll get the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting matters including some related to various venue liability litigation (recreational venues, arenas, amusement parks, etc.). Responsibilities: Handle cases from inception to conclusion Take and defend depositions Court appearances Draft motions, pleadings and respond to discovery Qualifications: Strong research and writing skills 2+ years of litigation experience Must be licensed to practice and in good standing in NY.
