Portland, Oregon (United States) We're looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our virtual team in an entry-level Customer Support Specialist position. You'll work directly with individuals and families who have requested information about programs and benefit options available to them. Your role is to make their experience as straightforward as possible by answering questions, understanding what they need, reviewing relevant information, and guiding them through the appropriate next steps. All communication is handled remotely through phone and virtual meetings. No previous industry experience is necessary, as training and ongoing support are provided. Your Responsibilities Customer Support Specialists manage client conversations from the initial appointment through follow-up and continued assistance. Your responsibilities will include: Responding to individuals who have requested information Scheduling and completing virtual appointments Communicating with clients by phone and video Learning about each individual or family's needs and priorities Reviewing available benefit programs and coverage options Explaining information in a clear and professional manner Answering client questions and addressing concerns Providing guidance throughout the enrollment process Completing follow-ups and maintaining ongoing communication Keeping accurate notes and client records Managing appointments and daily responsibilities independently Attending virtual training, coaching sessions, and team meetings Who We're Looking For You don't need previous experience in benefits or client services to get started. We provide training and are looking for people who are willing to learn and committed to providing a professional client experience. Successful candidates typically have: Strong verbal and written communication skills A helpful and professional approach when working with others Good organization and time-management abilities Basic computer skills and comfort using online platforms The ability to work independently from home Dependability when managing appointments and follow-ups Attention to detail when handling client information A willingness to learn new processes and systems Openness to coaching and professional development Motivation to work toward individual and team objectives Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, administration, client relations, or another people-focused environment is an asset but not required. Training & Ongoing Support We provide structured training to help new team members understand the position and become comfortable handling client conversations. You'll learn how to use our virtual systems, conduct appointments, communicate program information, assist clients through the process, and manage follow-ups effectively.
