If you're someone who loves to uncover deep user insights and transform them into intuitive, impactful designs, this is the role for you. At rtCamp, we work with some of the largest brands. This means quality work over quantity. As a UX Researcher and designer, you are looking at generally 4-6 design projects every year in terms of work volume. #### Key Responsibilities 01. Strong foundation in user research and usability testing principles across diverse digital products and enterprise platforms. 02. Conduct both primary and secondary user research to uncover deep insights that aid in the website and application User Experience. 03. Perform and analyze quantitative and qualitative research methods to inform design decisions. 04. Carry out market research and ethnographic studies to understand user behavior in different contexts. 05. Experience or proficiency with remote usability testing tools (e.g., UserZoom, UserTesting.com), as well as surveying tools (e.g., Qualtrics) and data analysis tools. 06. Formulate research questions, gather relevant data, and perform in-depth analysis. 07. Competence in leading fieldwork and conducting interviews with end users to gather in-depth insights. 08. Conduct competitor and exemplar analysis. 09. Ability to represent user needs through methods like discovery research, business process flows, customer journey mapping, persona development, and requirements gathering. 10. Knowledge of Web Accessibility standards, with familiarity in WCAG 2.0 being an added advantage. 11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key research topics and areas for exploration. 12. Develop and execute comprehensive user research strategies and methodologies. 13. Present research findings to diverse stakeholders through compelling written reports and oral presentations. 14. Lead usability studies with users to evaluate product effectiveness and ease of use. 15. Leverage a variety of UX research tools and techniques to deliver actionable insights. #### Must Haves 1. 3+ years of experience as a UX researcher, preferably in a quality-driven, results-oriented environment. Samples of previous UX research work and case studies are highly preferred. 2. Demonstrated expertise in planning, conducting, and executing user research, with a strong understanding of both qualitative and quantitative methods. 3. Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable design recommendations.Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance user needs with business goals, maintaining a positive, solution-focused mindset. 4. A track record of effectively implementing qualitative research methodologies, ensuring the research approach aligns with project goals and timelines. 5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey ideas, initiate strategic business discussions with program managers and project/product stakeholders. #### Good to Have 1. Your previous UX research work samples and case studies are handy. 2. Strong understanding of design sensibility, UX processes and principles, interaction design, and user-centered design methodologies. 3. Familiarity with WordPress, its theme system, Gutenberg editor and headless ecosystem. 4. Familiar with UX Design and Project management tools.
