Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and Continuous Maintenance System (CMS) for assigned vessels
- Organize and oversee repairs for vessel equipment including deck, engine, electrical, navigation, and cargo gear
- Conduct detailed onboard inspections at least once every three months to verify safety, navigation, and machinery operation compliance
- Report ship performance data accurately to the Ship Manager and verify logged parameters for correctness
- Prepare dry dock repair specifications and maintenance activity plans for budgeting and operational planning
Requirements
- Experience with Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and Continuous Maintenance System (CMS)
- Knowledge of flag and port state requirements for vessel operations
- Understanding of manufacturer operating instructions and prudent engineering practices
- Ability to conduct vessel inspections and verify safety, navigation, and machinery operation procedures
- Experience in preparing repair specifications and maintenance plans for budgeting purposes
