COMPANY OPERATING RHYTHM At Deepgram, we expect an AI-first mindset—AI use and comfort aren’t optional, they’re core to how we operate, innovate, and measure performance. Every team member who works at Deepgram is expected to actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, and even build your own into your everyday work. We measure how effectively AI is applied to deliver results, and consistent, creative use of the latest AI capabilities is key to success here. Candidates should be comfortable adopting new models and modes quickly, integrating AI into their workflows, and continuously pushing the boundaries of what these technologies can do. Additionally, we move at the pace of AI. Change is rapid, and you can expect your day-to-day work to evolve just as quickly. This may not be the right role if you’re not excited to experiment, adapt, think on your feet, and learn constantly, or if you’re seeking something highly prescriptive with a traditional 9-to-5. THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a Talent Researcher to help us understand the talent market, identify great people early, and build stronger pipelines across the business. This is more than a reactive sourcing role. You’ll focus on talent mapping, market research, proactive pipeline building, and surfacing candidates who may not be actively looking. Your work will help our recruiting team and hiring leaders make better, faster decisions about where to find talent and how to engage them. You’ll operate at the intersection of research, analysis, and recruiting execution. WHAT YOU BRING - 5+ years of experience in talent research, executive search, sourcing, recruiting, or a similar role with a strong research component. - Experience building talent maps, target company lists, candidate pipelines, or market research across complex or competitive talent markets. - Strong sourcing and research skills, including experience with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Talent Insights, ATS platforms, spreadsheets, and other research tools. - An analytical mindset. You don't just collect names — you look for patterns, understand markets, and turn information into actionable insights. - Strong written communication and the ability to present research in a clear, structured, and useful way. - Comfort operating in ambiguity and adapting quickly as hiring priorities change. - A proactive mindset and an interest in building pipelines before the need becomes urgent.
