Support Engineer
Resolve WordPress hosting issues for global clients via ticket system
As a Support Engineer at Kinsta, you will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to managed WordPress hosting for a global client base. You will work through a ticketing system to diagnose problems, provide solutions, and ensure high uptime and performance for websites hosted on Kinsta’s platform. Your role focuses on delivering timely, accurate support to businesses ranging from startups to enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve WordPress hosting issues reported by customers
- Respond to support tickets with clear, technical solutions in English
- Escalate complex infrastructure or performance problems to senior engineers
- Maintain documentation of common issues and troubleshooting steps
- Monitor server status and client site performance to prevent outages
Requirements
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and common issues
- Experience with Linux command line and server administration
- Proficiency in English for technical communication
- Familiarity with hosting environments, DNS, SSL, and web performance
- Ability to troubleshoot PHP, MySQL, and web server (nginx/apache) configurations
