Staff Data Engineer

Build data pipelines to support software supply chain security analytics

Key Responsibilities

Design and optimize data pipelines for processing software dependency and SBOM data
Integrate data from Nexus Repository and Maven Central to support security analytics
Develop ETL workflows to transform open source package metadata into actionable insights
Ensure data quality and reliability for risk detection and compliance reporting systems
Collaborate with security and product teams to define data requirements for threat intelligence
Monitor and tune data infrastructure performance for scalability and efficiency

Requirements

Expertise in building scalable data pipelines using SQL and Python
Experience with data warehousing and ETL/ELT technologies
Proficiency in processing semi-structured data such as JSON and XML
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Strong understanding of data modeling and schema design for analytics
Experience working with large-scale datasets in distributed systems
