Solana Program Engineer
Develop and optimize Solana blockchain programs for high-performance decentralized applications
The Solana Foundation seeks a Program Engineer to build and maintain core infrastructure on the Solana blockchain. This role involves writing, testing, and deploying secure, efficient programs that power decentralized applications. You will contribute to the adoption and security of the Solana network through hands-on engineering work.

Key Responsibilities
- Write and deploy Solana programs using Rust and the Solana SDK
- Optimize blockchain programs for high performance and low latency
- Test and audit smart contracts for security vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with core developers to improve network infrastructure
- Document code and technical specifications for open-source contributions
- Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices
Requirements
- Proficiency in Rust programming language
- Experience with Solana blockchain development and smart contracts
- Understanding of blockchain fundamentals and decentralized systems
- Familiarity with Solana SDK, Anchor framework, or similar tools
- Ability to write secure, efficient, and production-quality code
- Experience with testing and debugging blockchain applications
