Senior Software Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to own product work end-to-end — from frontend to backend — with full production responsibility. You’ll work closely with product and design to turn complex financial workflows into intuitive, reliable experiences, shaping technical decisions across the stack and raising the bar for the engineers around you. What You’ll Do Within 3 months, you will: - Ship your first production contribution and develop a strong understanding of our architecture, codebase, and key product workflows - Form a clear point of view on at least one technical area that could be improved - Begin contributing to design and code reviews with technical perspective Within 6 months, you will: - Own a significant feature end-to-end — from technical design to production — across frontend and backend - Identify and address quality or consistency issues in the codebase proactively - Start mentoring teammates through code reviews and technical pairing Within 9 months, you will: - Consistently own complex features with full autonomy, including cross-cutting architectural decisions - Make material improvements to core platforms or critical business logic - Influence technical standards on the team and be the engineer teammates pull in for hard problems What You’ll Bring - 7+ years of software engineering, with strong command of TypeScript across the full stack (Node.js backend, React frontend) - Experience designing and building REST and/or GraphQL APIs with production ownership - Ability to understand broad system architecture and make well-reasoned design tradeoffs - Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) — schema design, query optimization - Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS preferred) and modern CI/CD practices - Communicates technical complexity clearly to product and cross-functional stakeholders - Uses AI tooling natively as part of your engineering workflow Please note that this role may evolve as our business needs change, so we appreciate your flexibility and adaptability.
