Senior Flight Software Integration Engineer (Ardupilot / Simulink)

Aerofex | Senior Flight Software Integration Engineer (Ardupilot / Simulink) | Remote / Los Angeles | Contract Aerofex is a rapidly-growing aerospace startup developing next-generation thrust vectoring and VTOL propulsion technology for manned and unmanned platforms. We are seeking an experienced engineer to support the migration of an existing flight-control implementation from a flight-verified Simulink-like development environment into an ArduPilot-based production implementation. This is a 1-2 month contract position, with potential for future full-time work. The primary task is to create a custom ArduPilot airframe configuration for a (slightly) nonstandard vehicle. This work will focus on actuator/output mixing, PWM output expansion, firmware integration, and hardware-level debugging on a Pixhawk-based flight controller.
