Key Responsibilities 1. Migration Architecture & Execution Lead the end-to-end technical execution of complex data migration projects into Google Workspace. Design, configure, and optimize migration pipelines using Movebot and CloudM (both CloudM Migrate and CloudM Manage). Perform deep-dive discovery and source-environment assessments to identify potential data fidelity risks, permission mapping complexities, and scale challenges. Develop robust mapping strategies for identity, mail, calendars, contacts, and complex hierarchical file structures. 2. Technical Leadership & Strategy Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for cloud-to-cloud and on-premise-to-cloud migration methodologies. Define best practices, repeatable deployment frameworks, and automation scripts to continuously improve delivery efficiency. Troubleshoot advanced infrastructure, API throttling, network bottlenecks, and data delta sync failures. 3. Google Workspace Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of Google Workspace administration, directory synchronization (GCDS), API limits, and service account architecture. Migration Tool Mastery: Advanced, hands-on experience configuring and managing Movebot and CloudM at scale. Candidates must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of these tools' specific optimization parameters, error handling, and reporting features. Source Environments: Strong proficiency migrating data from Microsoft 365 / Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Box, Dropbox, and local network file shares. Scripting & Automation: Proficiency with command-line tools (e.g., Gam/GamADV-XTD3) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate bulk administrative tasks and custom migrations.
