On behalf of KD Pharma, GT is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to help shape the company’s next-generation BI environment and turn data into better business decisions. ABOUT KD PHARMA KD Pharma is a global, technology-driven pharmaceutical and nutraceutical CDMO, founded in 1988. The company specialises in ultra-pure Omega-3 concentrates and delivers end-to-end solutions from custom synthesis to finished dosage forms. With operations across Germany, Norway, the UK, the USA, Canada and Peru, KD Pharma works in a highly regulated environment and serves customers globally. ABOUT THE PROJECT & ROLE KD Pharma is launching a company-wide Data Revolution initiative to modernise its data platform and reporting landscape. Power BI is at the heart of the current BI environment, and the company is now moving towards a more scalable, consistent and well-governed approach to analytics and reporting. As a Senior BI Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping how KD Pharma uses data across the business. You’ll combine hands-on Power BI development, data analysis, stakeholder management and BI governance to: - Turn complex business needs into clear BI solutions - Build and improve Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models - Work with business stakeholders to define meaningful KPIs and metrics - Improve data quality, consistency and reporting standards - Partner with the Data/BI engineering team as the new data platform evolves - Help establish scalable BI processes and best practices This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to go beyond simply building reports and have a real impact on how BI is built and used across an international organisation. RESPONSIBILITIES - Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting, analytics and information requirements. - Translate business requirements into BI solutions, reporting specifications and data requirements. - Design and develop dashboards, reports and analytical outputs. - Analyse and interpret complex datasets to support business decision-making. - Define and maintain reporting metrics, KPIs and business definitions. - Support data transformation and data-model design for reporting and analytics. - Investigate data-quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them. - Ensure reports and analytical outputs are accurate, consistent and fit for purpose. - Collaborate with data engineers, application teams and business users across the full delivery lifecycle. - Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders. - Support improvements to reporting processes, governance and BI standards. - Prioritise BI requirements and help manage the reporting/analytics backlog. - Provide guidance and support to other analysts where appropriate. - Introduce a change-request gate and a report-certification standard for the estate, and retire redundant reports. - Operationalise the report subscriptions and status-rule scorecards already prototyped but never rolled out. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS - Strong experience in Business Intelligence, reporting or data analytics. - Advanced hands-on Power BI skills, including DAX, Power Query, workspace/app administration and semantic modelling. - Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational datasets. - Solid understanding of data modelling, transformations and BI architecture. - Experience gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders. - Experience translating business requirements into technical or reporting specifications. - Hands-on experience building dashboards and management reporting. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Experience identifying and resolving data-quality issues. - Ability to communicate complex data clearly to non-technical audiences. - Strong stakeholder-management skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. - English level: B2–C1. NICE TO HAVE - Experience leading or mentoring BI/data analysts. - Experience working with enterprise data platforms. - Awareness of the wider Microsoft data platform (Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric). - Experience working with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain or Quality data. - Experience working in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, life sciences or another regulated industry. - Experience supporting data-governance or reporting-governance initiatives.
