Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable, production-grade data models using SQL and transformation tools like dbt, Dataform, or SQLMesh
  • Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to define success metrics and evaluate product outcomes
  • Enable self-service analytics through trusted metrics, reusable semantic models, and scalable data products
  • Leverage AI and modern analytics tooling to accelerate insight generation and improve analytics workflows
  • Continuously improve the analytics platform through robust modeling, testing, documentation, and engineering best practices

Requirements

  • Experience building and maintaining production data models using SQL and modern transformation tools (e.g. Dataform, SQLMesh or dbt)
  • Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Python
  • Experience with BigQuery and a BI tool, ideally Looker
  • Comfortable partnering with Product Managers and business stakeholders to translate questions into scalable analytics solutions
  • Proactive, pragmatic mindset with strong communication skills and a passion for making data accessible and trustworthy
