What you'll be responsible for: - Develop a deep understanding of Hospitality’s business processes, systems, customers, and underlying data architecture to provide meaningful analysis and support operational excellence within the Pod. - Develop exploratory and reusable data models leveraging diverse data sources, supporting business partners with insightful datasets, reporting, dashboards, and clear analytical recommendations. - Translate complex and sometimes ambiguous stakeholder questions into well-defined analytical requirements, approaches, and solutions that address the underlying business need. - Be the bridge between the Data Office and the broader Hospitality organization, turning complexity into clarity and ensuring clear communication of assumptions, findings, limitations, and implications. - Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and data flows, and use analysis to help Hospitality teams make more informed and effective decisions. - Monitor and improve data quality by investigating discrepancies at the source, documenting findings, communicating impact, and driving continuous improvement across the relevant teams. - Collaborate with the Data Office to establish analytical standards and best practices, improve documentation and definitions, and mentor junior team members. AND A LITTLE BIT OF.... - Stay up to date with developments, innovations, and trends in data, including state-of-the-art machine learning models and large language models (LLMs). - Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organisational objectives even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your role.
