As the Purchasing Coordinator, you will be responsible for purchasing all products and managing inventory for our innovative new platform. This role requires a dynamic individual who is comfortable in an operational role and has strategic, creative ideas for process improvement. You should have a strong understanding of inventory planning and procurement principles, excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and be passionate about driving efficiencies.   WHAT YOU'LL DO - Inventory Planning and Management: Develop and implement effective strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels - Purchase Order Management: Place and manage all purchase orders (POs) daily to ensure accurate entry, proofing, and maintenance - External Collaboration: Provide regular updates to fulfillment partners on inventory status, potential risks, and new opportunities - Process Improvement: Implement best practices and innovative solutions to ensure the purchasing process is efficient and scalable - Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis and forecasting techniques to identify trends and make informed decisions on optimal reorder points - Inventory Monitoring: Monitor inventory levels daily and make timely adjustments to meet changing conditions - Performance Reporting: Analyze and report on inventory performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving solutions - Audits: Partner with fulfillment partners to request regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy and identify potential discrepancies - Internal Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall business performance, work closely with systems analyst to troubleshoot issues YOU SHOULD HAVE - Bachelors Degree - Proven 1+ years of experience in procurement and inventory management, preferably in a high-growth environment - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Positive attitude and team-oriented mentality with excellent collaboration skills - Expertise in Excel, familiarity with inventory management & forecasting systems, Tableau experience is a plus - Ability to work independently and confidently manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment - Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational skills   Benefits (Full Time Roles) - 100% remote within the USA - Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Automatic 401k contribution - Employee referral program - At home office set up - Bi-annual company retreats - Open vacation policy - Equity - Monthly team events   The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is: $55,000/year - $90,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. For Colorado, the salary range is: $60,000 - $85,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. This salary range is a good faith estimate of what Vetcove may pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, and experience. The range reflects the base hourly rate or annual compensation (as applicable), and does not include bonus, equity or other incentives. In addition to base compensation, Vetcove offers a comprehensive benefits package.
