Protocol Security Researcher

Research Ethereum protocol security to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities

Conduct in-depth research on Ethereum protocol security to identify potential vulnerabilities and attack vectors. Develop mitigation strategies and contribute to the long-term security, decentralization, and resilience of the Ethereum network. Collaborate with EF teams and external researchers to strengthen protocol defenses through rigorous analysis and peer review.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to security-focused Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs)
Participate in protocol design reviews with a security-first mindset

Requirements

Knowledge of consensus mechanisms and network security
Ability to reason about adversarial behavior in decentralized systems
Familiarity with formal verification or security modeling techniques
