Project Monitoring Surveyor - Midlands (fully remote, home-based)
Monitor construction project progress to ensure development finance compliance
As a Project Monitoring Surveyor, you will conduct site visits and review documentation to track construction progress against agreed schedules and budgets. Your deliverables include detailed monitoring reports that inform lending decisions for development finance clients. You will work remotely from the Midlands region, supporting a specialist consultancy that serves senior lenders in the property development sector.

- Conduct regular site visits to assess construction progress and quality
- Review project documentation including drawings, schedules, and cost reports

- Liaise with developers, contractors, and lenders to gather project information
- Identify potential delays or cost overruns and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to lender requirements and development finance standards
Requirements
- Experience in construction monitoring, project management, or quantity surveying
- Knowledge of development finance processes and lender requirements
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schedules, and cost documentation
- Strong reporting and communication skills for stakeholder liaison
- Familiarity with construction health and safety regulations
- Professional qualification in a relevant field (e.g., MRICS, CIOB, or equivalent)
