Full Description
At Linear, we're building the product development system for teams and agents. AI is fundamentally changing how software gets built, and we’re shaping the tools this new era requires. Founded in 2019, Linear has become the platform of choice for more than 30,000 companies (including OpenAI, Coinbase, and Ramp) to plan, build, and ship their products. Today, our team is distributed across North America, Europe, and Australia, and we’re continuing to grow internationally. This is a hands-on role for someone who combines product judgment, excellent writing, and strong cross-functional leadership. Location & work mode Linear is a remote-first company, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in North America and Europe. You can work from anywhere within these regions. What you’ll do - Develop positioning, messaging, and core narratives for feature releases, key launches, and strategic product narratives - Partner closely with Product management, Engineering, and Design to refine how products are presented across in-product and external surfaces - Create and coordinate launch deliverables such as changelogs, demos, enablement materials, email, social copy, and go-to-market communications - Equip Sales, CX, and other customer-facing teams with the context and materials they need to communicate new launches effectively - Bring customer insight, product understanding, and market context back into product and launch decisions What we’re looking for - Exceptional writing and editorial judgment, with the ability to make complex ideas feel clear and compelling - Strong positioning and messaging skills grounded in customer problems, product truth, and differentiation - Great project management skills and ability to track large amounts of detail. - Comfort going deep on product details and building credibility with Product, Engineering, and Design - Strong judgment, ownership, and the ability to operate autonomously while maintaining a high quality bar What we offer We're a small, focused team that cares deeply about the quality of our work and the people we do it with.
