Oversee daily sea freight activities including cargo handling, loading, unloading, and storage while ensuring adherence to safety standards. Lead and mentor the sea freight operations team, provide training, and conduct performance evaluations. Implement process improvements and resolve operational issues such as shipment delays and documentation errors to guarantee efficient logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily sea freight activities including cargo handling, loading, unloading, and storage
- Lead and mentor the sea freight operations team through training and performance evaluations
- Implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Resolve operational challenges such as shipment delays, documentation errors, and cargo handling issues
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless communication and operations
- Ensure regulatory compliance with local, international, and company regulations for sea freight operations
Requirements
- Experience in sea freight logistics operations
- Ability to lead and mentor an operations team
- Knowledge of cargo handling, loading, unloading, and storage procedures
- Skills in process improvement and issue resolution
- Experience coordinating with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs authorities
- Understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance in logistics
