Role and Responsibilities As a Senior Network Engineer supporting our managed services offering, Digital Infrastructure Management Service (DIM) , you will be responsible for providing post-deployment operational support for customer network environments hosted within Equinix IBX data centers, the Equinix Network Edge virtual networking platform, and our Managed Private Cloud (MPC) services. Acting as a network infrastructure specialist, you will perform technical troubleshooting, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve complex infrastructure issues. You will leverage Equinix Managed Services to help customers maintain stable, secure, and optimized network environments. Key Responsibilities Provide operational support for customer network infrastructures following service deployment. Respond to customer inquiries and technical support requests. Perform incident response, troubleshooting, and service restoration activities during outages or service disruptions. Implement configuration changes and operational requests in accordance with customer requirements. Diagnose and resolve network-related issues across complex enterprise environments. Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and vendors to deliver high-quality managed services. Ensure operational excellence and continuous service improvement throughout the customer lifecycle. Qualifications and Experience Required Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in Layer 2 and Layer 3 network design and implementation. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience implementing routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and Static Routing . Experience designing and deploying virtual networking technologies, including SD-WAN . Experience implementing and supporting security solutions such as firewalls (FW) . Strong troubleshooting experience in enterprise network environments. Experience working on projects that require communication and collaboration in English. Business level of Japanese is a MUST Preferred Qualifications Technical expertise in public cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure . Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
