Job Description Summary The Logistics Analyst Intern will support the North America Logistics team with data analysis, reporting, shipment visibility, cost tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in project logistics and supply chain operations while helping the team improve data accuracy, visibility, and operational efficiency. The intern will work closely with Logistics, Project Management, Sourcing, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to collect and analyze logistics data, maintain reporting tools, support transportation cost analysis, and assist with the development and standardization of logistics processes and tools. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Logistics Data & Reporting Collect, organize, and analyze transportation and logistics data from multiple sources. Maintain shipment trackers, logistics dashboards, and KPI reports. Support analysis of freight spend, shipment volumes, transportation modes, carriers, and project activity. Assist with monthly and quarterly logistics reporting. Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities to improve data quality. Support development of standardized reporting and data-management processes. Transportation Cost Analysis Assist with tracking transportation costs against project logistics budgets. Support comparison of carrier quotations and transportation alternatives. Assist with freight cost benchmarking and historical cost analysis. Support identification and documentation of logistics cost-saving opportunities. Help maintain logistics cost databases and historical pricing information. Assist with basic budget-versus-actual and variance analysis. Shipment & Project Support Maintain shipment and delivery information for active projects. Assist with tracking key transportation milestones, including planned ship dates, pickup dates, transit status, and delivery dates. Support the logistics team with project reporting and documentation. Assist with gathering information required for logistics planning and transportation RFQs. Help maintain organized project logistics files and documentation. KPI & Performance Management Support tracking and reporting of logistics KPIs, including: On-time pickup and delivery Freight spend Budget versus actual cost Carrier performance Shipment volumes Transit performance Logistics savings and cost avoidance Assist with preparing scorecards and management reports. Analyze trends and highlight potential performance issues for review by the Logistics team. Process Improvement & Digital Tools Support development and maintenance of standardized logistics templates, trackers, and reporting tools. Assist with documenting logistics processes, workflows, and standard work. Identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting and improve data visibility. Support development of dashboards using Excel, Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar tools. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the Logistics organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or related fields , currently pursuing studies with expected graduation from December 2028 onwards . Advanced to fluent English proficiency , with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office , particularly Excel . Availability for a remote internship , working 6 hours per day , with a 1-hour lunch break . Proactive, organized, and eager to learn , with an interest in developing professional experience in a dynamic and international environment.
