Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Lead incident response and improve observability for Manatal's HRTech platform
As the first dedicated Site Reliability Engineer at Manatal, you will own incident response, on-call operations, and the observability stack. You will lead all production incidents, drive resolution, and conduct blameless post-mortems. You will improve alerting, reduce noise, and ensure platform reliability and security posture while working closely with engineering and product leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead production incident response including triage, coordination, communication, and resolution
- Own and improve the on-call rotation by defining schedules, escalation policies, and response expectations
- Maintain and enhance the observability stack using Datadog to monitor system health
- Write and maintain incident runbooks to enable faster response and reduce knowledge dependency
- Conduct blameless post-mortems and track follow-up actions to ensure completion
- Analyze on-call patterns and alert noise to drive permanent fixes with engineering teams
Requirements
- Experience leading incident response and managing on-call operations
- Proficiency with observability tools such as Datadog
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder updates during incidents
- Ability to write and maintain technical documentation like runbooks
- Experience conducting blameless post-mortems and driving improvement actions
- Background in improving system reliability and reducing alert noise in production environments
