Build and deploy scalable EHR integrations using React and TypeScript
As an L3 Software Engineer at Natera, you will help expand the EHR engineering team by shipping code, reviewing code, and designing applications and systems. You'll work on both off-the-shelf EHR integrations (like Epic and Mirth) and greenfield cloud-native solutions, focusing on interoperability, scalability, and resilience. Your role includes building, deploying, and releasing features to level up the platform to world-class standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Ship code to develop and improve EHR integrations and cloud-native applications
- Review code to maintain quality and confidence in the engineering process
- Design applications and systems with a focus on scalability and resilience
- Build, deploy, and release features for both existing and new EHR platforms
- Contribute to interoperability efforts using tools like Epic, Mirth, React, and TypeScript
Requirements
- Deep experience with 0->1 product development and incremental improvements
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript for frontend development
- Experience with Postgres and cloud-native application stacks
- Background in EHR systems, interoperability engines, or healthcare IT
- Ability to design and implement scalable, resilient systems

Natera | L3 Software Engineer | Full-Time | Remote, USA | 140 - 160k USD | Genomics Tech | https://natera.com Natera, the leader in cfDNA testing, is expanding the EHR (Electronic Health Records) engineering team with a Software Engineer (L3) role. The team consists of 9 engineers mostly on the senior side with a heavy focus on interoperability, scalability, resilience and building net new capabilities. We are a hungry group of hackers who value quality, confidence and sensibility. You'll be joining the team to help level us up to a world class EHR platform. We have a mix of off-the-shelf EHRs and interoperability engines (Epic, Mirth, etc) and greenfield cloud native solutions. We are looking for an engineer who has deep experience both with 0->1 and incremental product improvements. Our tools of choice are often React, Typescript, Postgres but we have a wide variety of cloud native and other applications in the mix. You'll be helping lead day to day through shipping code, reviewing code, designing applications and systems, building, deploying, releasing.
