Key Responsibilities • Develop, and deliver robust, secure, and high-quality solutions in a cloud-based environment. • Advocate and apply best practices in software engineering, including SOLID principles, design patterns, and domain-driven design (DDD). • Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and IT stakeholders to align technical strategy with business objectives. • Work with the engineering team in building and maintaining scalable data platforms in Azure. • Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery. • Ensure code quality through automated testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, mocking). • Support and mentor team members, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement. Who You Are We are looking for a colleague with proven experience as a IT Platform Engineer with a proficiency in Object Oriented programming languages (e.g. Python). You'll be engaged in all aspects of reliable software development: from planning/design stage, hands-on development and testing to automated deployment. We are also looking for someone with the following profile: Required Technical Skills • Strong experience in object-oriented programming, analysis, and design (Python preferred). • Proven expertise with Cloud services (using SDK, Terraform, Databricks - Azure preferred). • Experience with Unity Catalog is a plus. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) is a plus. • Strong understanding of the incremental software development cycle, DevOps, and CI/CD. • Application of SOLID principles and design patterns. • Familiarity with writing layer tests/testing pyramid (Pytest is a plus) Soft Skills • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. • Analytical thinker and effective problem solver. • Strong sense of ownership and accountability. • Ability to mentor and support team members Being You The "Kyn" in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
