Opportunity Type: Temporary or Intern (Paid) (Fixed Term) Summary: JOB SUMMARY Intern/Fellow is an entry-level, temporary role designed to give students hands-on experience in a professional setting. Under the guidance of a mentor or supervisor, the intern will support teams with a mix of administrative tasks, project work, and learning opportunities. The position focuses on skill-building, collaboration, and exposure to real workflows. Assignments typically run 3–6 months and may be part-time during the academic year or full-time in the summer; compensation and college credit arrangements vary by program. This internship position is to support the Programs Department in improving the quality, usability, and visualization of program data through knowledge management products and platform (International Knowledge Centre/IKC), enabling better internal analysis, learning, and decision-making. Key Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL DUTIES Data Consolidation Support the Programs Department in collecting and consolidating program data from country offices and internal sources as well as any relevant secondary data relevant to context analysis and imerging trends in the region Assist in standardizing datasets for comparability across countries and initiatives relevant to the global standards Maintain clean, structured data for analysis within the established regional system Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to validate program data, ensure accuracy, and address data quality issues as needed Data Cleaning & Validation Review datasets for completeness, consistency, and accuracy Flag gaps, inconsistencies, and anomalies in data inputs Support basic data quality checks prior to analysis Data Analysis Perform descriptive analysis to identify trends, gaps, and patterns across countries and program areas Assess progress against key program priorities Prepare concise analytical summaries for internal use Data Visualization Develop simple dashboards, charts, and visual summaries as needed Translate data into clear insights for leadership and team discussions Support visual inputs for portfolio reviews and internal learning materials IKC Support Review and clean up existing content in the IKC AP Programs section Organize materials by priority areas and thematic categories Remove outdated or duplicate content and ensure clarity and consistency Improve usability through structured tagging and formatting Support conversion of key outputs into accessible knowledge summaries and visuals MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Current enrollment as a student at an accredited college or university; pursuing a degree (any field or a related field depending on the role). PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS Major or coursework aligned with the internship role (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Communications, Graphic Design, etc.).
