Infrastructure & DevOps Assistant Manager

Design and automate scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes

Lead the design, automation, and operation of scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Implement Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools while mentoring Infra and DevOps teams. Ensure system reliability, security hardening, and compliance with ISO 27001 through hands-on technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Infrastructure as Code
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
  • Manage Linux and Windows servers, including patching, hardening, and troubleshooting
  • Design and monitor system reliability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch
  • Lead and mentor Infra and DevOps engineers while defining operational standards
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and manage vendor partnerships

Requirements

  • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms
  • Hands-on expertise in Terraform or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience implementing and operating CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
  • Linux system administration and scripting (Shell, Python)
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK

We are looking for a hands-on Infrastructure & DevOps Manager to design, automate, and operate modern IT infrastructure while leading and mentoring Infra and DevOps teams. This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives in cloud-native environments and automation-first culture. Role Objective Lead the design, automation, and operation of scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure platforms while driving DevOps best practices and reliability across the organization. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise combined with leadership capability. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering (Hands-on) Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, Hybrid) Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation Manage and optimize Linux and Windows servers (Cloud and On-Prem) Design high-availability, scalable, and secure architectures Implement backup, DR, and BCP solutions with clear RTO and RPO DevOps & Automation Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) Automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration management Implement containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Support zero-downtime deployments and rollback strategies Promote GitOps and automation-first practices Platform Reliability & Observability Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch) Improve system reliability following SRE principles Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and risks Ensure infrastructure security, patching, and hardening Team Leadership & Governance Lead and mentor Infra and DevOps engineers Define standards, best practices, and operating procedures Collaborate with Development, Security, and Architecture teams Manage vendors and partners Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and security policies Required Skills and Experience Technical (Hands-on Required) Strong experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or CloudFormation CI/CD pipeline implementation and operations Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE is a plus) Linux system administration and troubleshooting Scripting skills (Shell, Python, or equivalent) Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) Leadership and Mindset Proven experience leading technical teams Ability to work hands-on at least 40–60% of the time Strong problem-solving and automation mindset Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments Nice to Have SRE experience GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux) Security tooling (WAF, IAM, Secrets Management) Hybrid and multi-cloud experience Large-scale enterprise systems
