Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
- 2–4 years of experience in application development, application support, or technical project coordination
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases

You will play a key role in maintaining operational stability while contributing to continuous improvements across the application landscape. Responsibilities Provide application support for General Insurance (GI) systems, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance. Collaborate with the Product Owner and Delivery Manager to implement application enhancements that meet business requirements. Monitor and manage Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations, including incident resolution, problem management, and production support. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues by working closely with infrastructure, development, and vendor teams. Coordinate with business users to investigate, analyse, and resolve technical and functional issues with minimal operational impact. Support infrastructure-related activities, including server, network, and application upgrades, testing, and deployment. Perform SQL queries and data analysis to support troubleshooting and operational requests. Conduct API testing and validation using tools such as Postman. Participate in change management, release activities, and production deployments. Maintain technical documentation and ensure support processes follow established standards and best practices. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance application performance, reliability, and operational efficiency. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. 2–4 years of experience in application development, application support, or technical project coordination. Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. Experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases. Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman. Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows environments. Understanding of infrastructure concepts, including servers, networking, and application deployment. Experience with ticketing systems and incident management processes. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Proactive, accountable, and able to take ownership of issues through to resolution. Knowledge of the insurance industry or General Insurance systems. Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are an advantage. Familiarity with ITIL, incident management, or service management practices is a plus.
